SnipQuote allows you to easily save and share quotes with others. Below you will find a number of tools
that can be used to easily submit quotes to SnipQuote.
Firefox Extension
The SnipQuote Firefox Extension allows you to easily highlight quotes on any website for submission
to SnipQuote. All quotes will be automatically saved to your user page where they can be shared
with other members of the community.

The SnipQuote Internet Explorer Plugin allows you to easily highlight quotes on any website for submission
to SnipQuote. All quotes will be automatically saved to your user page where they can be shared

Bookmarklet
Drag link below to your bookmarks toolbar to install the SnipQuote Firefox bookmarklet. The bookmarklet
allows you to save highlighted text to your user page. Once you have installed the bookmarklet, just
highlight text on any web page, then click on the bookmarklet in the toolbar.

Usage Instructions
Once your favorite plugin/extension is installed, contributing to SnipQuote is simple:
- Highlight a quote of interest on any web page. A quote can be up to 1024 characters in length.

Right click (or Ctrl-click for Mac users) and select Snip Quote from the menu as shown in the
image below:

A popup window will appear that allows you to edit the quote details and enter tags.
If you are not logged in to SnipQuote, you will be prompted to log in to your account.
If you don't have an account, you should click the sign up link to create one.
Once you are logged in, you will see the quote's source and text.
You can enter in the author's name and enter tags, which are simple keywords that you can use
to organize your quotes.
- Submit the quote and you are done!
